In Office Echocardiography Services
-
Echocardiography is the most powerful non-invasive diagnostic tool for a comprehensive cardiac evaluation. This imaging study provides the physician with information regarding the size, structure, and function of the heart.
-
Blood flow through the valves and chambers is analyzed using color flow and doppler.
-
Quantitative methods are used to determine the severity of valvular regurgitation and stenosis as well as calculate intracardiac pressures.
In Office Vascular Services
-
Vascular Ultrasound is a non-invasive modality used to produce images of arteries and veins in the neck, abdomen and extremities.
-
Arterial and venous blood flow is analyzed utilizing color and Doppler.
-
The degree of arterial stenosis and aneurysmal dilatation can be determined using quantitative methods. The presence of venous thrombosis and venous insufficiency can also be detected.
